Hi I’m Lori and I would love
to work with you!
A little bit about me:
I grew up the youngest of 8 in PA in a loving American Irish home (with some chaos, of course.)I became an aunt at age 10. I fell in love with my 22 nieces and nephews – my love for children began there.
I am a white cisgender woman and lesbian – I grew up with white privilege but I work hard at understanding other people’s beautiful cultures, faiths and backgrounds. I feel honored and humbled when working with the BIPOC community.
I was lucky enough to have a job as a civilian Military and Family Life Counselor(MFLC) and traveled and worked in Asia, Europe and UK on military bases as well as the USA. Via family military service combined with this work gave me extensive knowledge and background on military life for soldiers, spouses and children.
I love to play – being childlike is one of my gifts and laughter – I am part of a zoom Improv Troupe in Portsmouth, NH.
I also love to be serious and reflective and I honor the stories of others – our pain can become our greatest teacher.
I have a spirituality degree and honor ALL faith backgrounds. I use this tool in sessions if the individual is interested in this.
I bring myself, my journey, my education and professionalism to the sessions. You bring your resilience, courage and strength and your best self. You can move through your adversity and Find Your Light Within.
